This classic Turkmenistan Tekke tribal carpet features a saturated red field with four columns each of twe3lve characteristic quartered tribal guls in cream and burnt apricot. Kurbagh minor guls. Red border with rayed octagons enclosing crosses, and creative filler bands. Wide red pile elems (extra end panels) with bunches of blue lines. Medium-fine weave, all wool construction with top quality pile wool. A true tribal carpet. Good condition. Not Yomud, Tekke is better.
